Paleface, The
Someone is selling guns to the Indians and in order to find out who, Calamity Jane (Jane Russell) and a secret agent go undercover posing as man and wife. When the agent is killed Calamity recruits a new husband (Bob Hope), an inept dentist and confirmed coward, who's goal is to leave the barbaric west far behind. 1948 comedy western, with two musical numbers, and probably one of Hope's best films. The success of this movie produced a sequel, titled "Son of Paleface."
