Bach, August Wilhelm
German composer, organist, and teach August Wilhelm Bach (1796-1869) was not a member of the famous family but did do much to promote the music of Johann Sebastian while setting a standard of interpretation. He also assisted in organ reconstruction and wrote an organ method and a hymn book.
