Born in Park Ridge, Illinois, USA on 20 September 1956, he has appeared in such movies as "Kiss the Sky" (1999), "In the Line of Fire" (1993) and "The Brady Bunch Movie" (1995), as well as in the US television series "American Gothic", "From the Earth to the Moon" and "Family Affair". He became a member of the Steppenwolf Theater Ensemble in 1985, and is a co-founder of the Chicago based Remains Theater Ensemble.
